Here's the corner of my living room with my table finished (sort of). I'm still not happy with it. I don't like the way it chipped. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I have more pieces to paint and I'll watch Marion's videos again. One way or another, I'll master this.
See how it chipped. Not really the effect I wanted.

Was there wax or veneer on that table? Maybe it needed to be sanded down more first.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim - yes the table was stained and I didn't sand it but that is supposed to be the beauty of milk paint. You don't have to sand. I think my problem may have been the paint too thin. I was talking to Heidi at the store and she said she mixes it 50/50. That's what I'll try with my next piece! J
